Cobb & Co Cottages acquired their name from the property next door, which was a Cobb & Co Stage Coach booking office, built in 1857 and now a restaurant.

Located in a historic area of town, with Petticoat Lane just around the corner, and a two-minute walk to Penola's town centre with its craft shops, galleries, restaurants and hotels.

The Cottages are a much more recent addition, but their surrounding picket fence, colonial verandahs, profusion of climbing roses and neat appearance mean that they fit in nicely with Penola's old-time grace.

Each of the three cottages has two bedrooms offering families or small groups flexible sleeping arrangements, while the spacious kitchen and lounge means there's space for all. The bathroom is an experience in itself, with a 2-person spa bath perfect for some post-Coonawarra wine tasting. A television, DVD player, air conditioner, and BBQ, complete the picture of a fully relaxing and eminently affordable and charming accommodation equation.
